Jing is a practising member of Speech Pathology Australia with over 14 years of experience working across government, private and non-profit sectors in Melbourne and Canberra. She has a special interest in supporting children in the areas of language, speech, literacy and social communication development.
Jing is passionate about empowering the child’s family and their support team so the child can thrive in their home, educational and community environments. She provides peer and student supervision as well as mentorship of speech pathologists.
Jing is committed to learn about the current best practice and research. She is a trained facilitator/therapist for the following programs:
* Learn to Play | play therapy to develop children's pretend play skills
* Hanen's More Than Words and TalkAbility | group and individual parent training to support children's social communication development
* Talking Mats | resources and strategies to support people with communication difficulties to identify issues and set goals
* Social Thinking | resources and strategies to support social communication development
* Zones of Regulation | resources and strategies to support emotional regulation
