INITIAL CONSULTATION AND SUBSEQUENT THERAPY/SUPPORT
Based on our experience in providing quality supports, the following session structure is recommended:
- 50-minutes of direct consultation or therapy session
- 15-minutes of indirect supports (to write session notes and complete tasks in-between sessions)
Total of $195.00 + travel (calculated separately)

ASSESSMENT
Assessments are provided in-clinic and will be inclusive of time required to:
- Complete a suite of assessments
- Provide indirect supports (to record and analyse results, write session notes and complete tasks in-between sessions)
- Prepare a comprehensive report
- Discuss results and recommendations

Families can access rebated supports through:
1. Medicare - Ask your GP if your child is eligible for an Enhanced Primary Care Plan which will enable you to claim a rebate of up to $60.35 per session for 5 sessions within a calendar year.

2. Private health - Check with your private health fund to determine the rebates available to you.

Families can also access supports through funded programs such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS):
SHSP is currently supporting families with self- and plan-managed NDIS plans.
